Recordable Dog Communication Buttons – 4 Pack

Turn training and enrichment into an interactive experience with this colourful set of recordable dog communication buttons. Designed to help dogs associate a button with a particular word, action or request, these talking buttons provide a fun way to introduce your dog to simple communication training.

The set contains four large coloured buttons, making it easy to assign a different word or command to each one.

Record words or phrases that are useful to your dog, such as Food, Play, Outside, Yes or No. Your dog can then gradually learn that pressing a particular button produces a word associated with an action, object or activity.

Record Your Own Words

Each button can be personalised by recording your own chosen word or short phrase.

This means you can tailor the buttons to your dog's individual routine. For example, you could record:

  • Outside
  • Play
  • Food
  • Walk
  • Water
  • Bed
  • Yes
  • No
  • Mum
  • Dad

Start with one simple word that represents something your dog already understands and enjoys. Once your dog begins making the connection between pressing the button and the result, additional buttons can gradually be introduced.

Great for Mental Enrichment

Dogs benefit from activities that encourage them to think and solve problems. Recordable communication buttons can provide an additional form of mental stimulation and interactive enrichment alongside your dog's normal walks, play and training.

They can also make training enjoyable for both dog and owner as you work together to establish the meaning of each button.

Four Different Colours

The set includes four large buttons in different colours, making individual buttons easy to distinguish and arrange around your dog's training area.

The large push-button design provides a generous surface for your dog to press with a paw or nose.

Word and Picture Stickers Included

The set also includes a selection of word and picture stickers that can be used to identify what individual buttons represent.

Alternatively, you can create your own labels to suit the words you choose to record.

Getting Started

For the best results, begin with just one button rather than introducing all four at once.

Choose something your dog already understands, such as “Outside”. Record the word onto the button and place it near the door. Press the button yourself each time you take your dog outside.

With repetition and positive reinforcement, your dog can begin to associate the sound of the button with what happens next.

Once your dog understands the first button, you can gradually introduce another.

Every dog learns at a different pace, so keep sessions short, positive and enjoyable.
